Forty1, the employee engagement division of The Creative Engagement Group, today announced that Allen Putman has been promoted to Senior Communications and Engagement Consultant and Director of Growth for Forty1 in North America.

In this newly created role, Allen will support the agency’s expansion in North America by combining the power of employee engagement with The Creative Engagement Group’s world class expertise in areas such as digital, film, learning and events. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the group, Allen will advance Forty1’s innovative solutions, such as our DEI and change centers of excellence, to help clients address their employee engagement opportunities and challenges.

Prior to joining the Forty1 team, Allen worked with Merck’s biologics and vaccines units, leading several of the activities that contributed to a major turnaround of those businesses. Earlier in his career, Allen held a variety of leadership positions at communications and employee engagement firms in Chicago, San Francisco and New York, including leading the New York office of Insidedge, Golin’s former employee engagement business unit.

Kristen Erickson, Principal Consultant and Vice President of Forty1 in North America, said: “I’m thrilled that Forty1 can tap into Allen’s extensive experience in employee engagement, communications and healthcare to accelerate the growth of our offering in North America. It’s a critical time for business leaders to have the right engagement strategies in place to engage and inspire their employees.”

Allen Putman added: “Improving employee engagement is one of the most tangible ways for organizations to deliver lasting business results. I’m honored to take a leading role in expanding Forty1’s unique combination of research, creativity and decades of communications experience to help clients. Together with our partners in The Creative Engagement Group, we can drive action, change behaviors and create meaningful experiences tailored to today’s workforces and workplaces.”
